Texas Premier Sporting Arms – Clays & Champagnes

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a birthday party at Texas Premier Sporting Arms. You are probably thinking “a birthday party… at a shooting range?” My thoughts exactly, until I showed up. Rebecca, the on-site event planner had everything planned and decorated beautifully. It was the perfect girls’ day – learning how to shoot, a catered four-course meal, champagne and good friends.

If you are in the Houston area and looking for somewhere to have a family reunion, birthday party, or corporate retreat, check this place out. It is awesome!

Think Like A Publicist

This is another project for the awesome Ramona Russell. She put together a four-week course to teach you the PR necessities your business needs to get more exposure and recognition. It’s an excellent program that I can’t recommend enough! More info on Think Like a Publicist here.

The goal of the campaign was to encourage people to sign up for the course by highlighting testimonials from prior students in a visually appealing and consistent way.  The project included a cover photo for Facebook, a series of images with quotes from class participants, and a ‘one-week image’ for multiple social media platforms.

Ramona Russell, PR Expert & Coach

Ramona and I go way back… when we met Obama was unpacking boxes at the White House, Instagram didn’t exist, and I was still highlighting my hair (blonde wasn’t a good look for me).

I worked as Ramona’s intern basically trying to soak up all of the awesomeness she radiated on a daily basis.  Flash forward eight-ish years and the dream team is back together again.

Ramona is a phenomenal PR Expert and Coach. When we started working together, she knew that she needed visual content to brighten up her social media posts, something that would get her more interaction and show off her personality, but she just didn’t have the time to design it herself. That is where I came in. Ramona sent me the professional photos of her and her fur baby Clyde (love him), and then I read through her website and blog looking for content to use with the images. The result was an 8 image series designed for social media to highlight the reasons why Ramona should be your PR Coach.

The result? More likes and retweets than ever before and increased interaction on her Facebook.

Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue – Fostering Campaign

Dog rescue is a cause very near and dear to my heart. After adopting our dog Fitzwilly from Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue, I truly appreciated the value of foster families. They serve as a transition from the shelter to a forever home; I speak from experience when I say that fostering is a labor of love, but so rewarding.

For rescues, the math is simple, more fosters = more dogs saved. The problem is convincing people to foster is hard, so we created this campaign to help combat that disconnect.  The goal of the images was to help people understand the tangible benefits that dogs get from having a committed foster home.  The designs include a facebook cover photo, a series of graphics for social media, and a design for a printed flyer. All of the dogs are Cypress Lucky Mutt alumni that I took pictures of before they were adopted.
